Credit Access Businesses

You can obtain the necessary forms and instructions for a Credit Access Business (CAB) License by downloading the appropriate forms web site.

To open, complete, and print these forms, you'll need Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have Acrobat Reader on your computer, you can download it free.

You can get all forms necessary to complete the application by downloading printer-friendly PDF fillable forms required to apply for a CAB License. Not included below are the related statutes or administrative rules, which will become available on the website by the end of November 2011.

Notes:

• An instruction sheet and checklist is provided for your use. Ensure you have reviewed all instructions prior to completing and submitting your application. If you have any questions, you may contact the OCCC at info@occc.state.tx.us or by calling 512-936-7600.
• The files below may contain multiple pages; ensure you have reviewed the entire file to ensure a complete submission.
• If you choose to complete the forms through the PDF fillable option, you must save the files to your computer to ensure all data is saved.
• If you choose to file your application electronically, you must attach each file (and any required supporting documentation) to your email to ensure a complete submission.
• If you choose to send your application through postal or delivery service, you may print the PDF forms.

If the application form is missing any required documentation, the application may not be accepted and may be returned to you.

If filing applications electronically (via email), a signed consent form and payment must be received within 10 days of submitting the application. If payment and the consent form are not received within 10 days of electronic submission, the application will not be accepted and will need to be resubmitted.

Once the application is accepted, instructions on how to obtain and submit fingerprints will be forwarded to the applicant.
