HUD-approved housing counselors are available at little or no cost. You may find a HUD-approved housing counselor near you by calling (800) 569-4287. - Credit Bureaus: Credit reporting agencies produce and maintain your credit report.
- Credit Counseling Agencies: These agencies can help you out of serious debt and offer a wide range of services. However, they are most helpful as a source of information and credit education. Their goal is to help you remain debt-free.
